Welcome to SARTRE, the Severnside Alliance for Translational Research.

SARTRE was created in 2009 between the Universities of Cardiff and Bristol to combine and accelerate our efforts in translational research and to provide a focal point for interactions with external partners such as Bio-Pharmaceutical companies. At SARTRE we are building capacity and aligning our translational research programmes through our regular networking meetings and through our targeted research programmes. We are supported by the Welsh Office of Research and Development and by the Medical Research Council and our goal is to work with you to create a leading translational research hub in the Southwest and South Wales.
